Technically, you do not need a book in order to do the work for this class. All the information is available freely in the lectures on the course website, and all of the assignments are in Blackboard. However, officially there is a book for all sections of MAT 104, which you can purchase if you like at the BMCC Bookstore, directly from the publisher's website, or on amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com. If you do buy the book, I recommend that you check prices across these different platforms, as prices can vary substantially.

This book is different from one that was used in prior years, so if you do buy the book (especially a used one from a former student), double check that it is the correct one.
