Rubric for Peer Review of Writing Assignments

Criteria 1:

How clearly written was the essay? 
Were are of the major arguments understandable?  Did the order in which everything was presented make sense?  Were the author's main points clear?

Criteria worth 0 to 2 points.

Criteria 2:

How creatively did the author address the questions?
Did the author make original and interesting arguments?  Did the examples that the author used to support the points made in the paper seem interesting and creative, or did they just seem to parrot back ideas already stated in this week's article, the book, or the lecture, without any modification or individual interpretation?

Criteria worth 0 to 2 points.

Criteria 4:

Was all of the mathematics and related material correct?

Criteria worth 0 to 2 points.

Criteria 5:

Did the author follow all of the assignment instructions?
Did they answer each of the assignment questions?  Did they follow all of the instructions given?
